BIO – (A BRIEF HISTORY):

Doug Reed is a full-time evangelist who has been ministering all over the United States and around the world for the last five years. His ministry encompasses a wide array of events including church services, camps, conventions, college campus events, men’s retreats, family seminars, crusades and pastor’s conferences. Doug also is the coordinator for “Partnership International” the mission’s arm of Doug Reed Ministries. Doug’s wife, Jeanne, is a talented vocalist and their three children, Jordan (14), Jessica (12) and Jenna (4) embrace the missionary/evangelism lifestyle by the incredible way they support their dad.

Doug’s calling emerged out of a past void of any Christian heritage. His life has impacted his own family in a dramatic way, including several family members committing their lives to Christ. God has taken a suicidal young man from a past of self-hatred and no confidence and launched him out as a voice to a hurting world. The Reed’s ministry began with more than a decade of youth pastoring that commissioned over 100 young people into full-time Christian service. Doug’s exposure to church culture and world culture is extensive and gives him a balanced approach to ministry.

Doug’s unique style of communication speaks directly to the heart of a listener. His compassion and authenticity have the ability to open up even the toughest critic. His call is one of restoration to broken individuals and a magnification of the true purposes of the church. Doug’s philosophy is that when people let their guards down the Word can penetrate deeply to the source of their greatest need.
